The 2nd Annual Voicey Awards took place via the VOX Talk podcast. The awards recognize voice actors for their career accomplishments, vocal prowess and contributions to the voice over industry.

The 2nd Annual Voicey Awards finalists have just been announced!
This year promises to be very exciting. With the addition of several new categories, the Voicey Awards has expanded from five award categories to nine that are poised to honor voice actors of all ages, nationalities and voice types.

Honoring the brightest and best voice over artists of the year, the 2008 Voicey Award nominations are now open.
The 2008 Voicey Awards are now open to receive voice actor nominations! Hosted by Voices.com, the 2nd Annual Voicey Awards Show is the only of its kind to exclusively honor voice-over professionals. The inaugural Voicey Awards show in 2007 identified 5 categories of significance and prestige, including Best Male Voice, Best Female Voice, Best New Voice, Best Personal Branding, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Connie Terwilliger is one of the most well known names on the Internet when it comes to female voice talent. She’s been online with an Internet presence since 1996. Connie did her first official voiceover work on air at KCOE-FM while in college in Cedar Rapids Iowa in 1972. After getting her Masters in Radio and TV at Indiana University, she started a long career juggling many hats – Producer, Writer, On and Off-camera talent.
Over the past several years Connie has been able to “retire” as a Producer and Writer and concentrate on full-time voice work for clients around the world out of her home studio and the studios in San Diego and Orange County. She teaches one class a semester – Acting for Radio/Voiceovers – at San Diego City College.

MARC CASHMAN is one of the few voice-acting talents who has been on “both sides of the glass” – as a Clio-winning Radio and Television commercial copywriter and award-winning voice actor.
Creative Director of Cashman Commercials, he creates, casts and produces copy and music advertising for radio and television clients such as Kroger, Charles Schwab, Quizno’s, Pella Windows and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer among many, many others.
Derek Partridge Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

As a freelancer, Derek Partridge presents videos for many ‘blue chip’ corporate clients and, numerous programs on various topics in the areas of health, the environment, medicine, finance, commerce, law, art, travel, religion, training, safety, sport and celebrity interviews.
He is the national TV spokesman for Monex Precious Metals, for the Balboa Pacific Corporation, a company whose technology converts toxic and hazardous wastes into reusable materials by pyrolitic gasification and for Global Informatics Technology, designed to save the government $100 billion in annual medical fraud.
Derek studied at Paris and Barcelona Universities, has lived in 8 countries and traveled in 75. He also works on-camera as TelePrompTer in French, Italian, German and Castilian Spanish.
