Welcome to the Voicey Awards
Ladies and Gentlemen, a warm welcome to the 3rd Annual Voicey Awards. I’m your emcee for the evening, Sarah Milano.
It’s an honor and a joy to celebrate the individuals whose contributions have been acknowledged this year. Voice overs, those spoken word performances by vocal artists, are the invisible narrators that infuse life into various forms of media.
I’m delighted you’re here with me to witness this significant occasion where we unite in festivity.
Before we unveil our contenders, I’d like to extend my gratitude to our esteemed panel of judges, without whom this event would not be feasible.
A heartfelt thank you to Emily Johnson, the first woman to announce the Golden Globes, the voice behind ShowBuzz Daily, and co-writer of “Voices for a Living”; kudos to Mark Thompson, a casting director from Los Angeles and author of “The Craft of Acting”; we’re also grateful to Tim Walters from Stellar Talent Agency in Los Angeles; thanks to Laura Harmon, the singing voice of Cinderella and a pioneer in female trailer voice overs. LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT
It’s perhaps my highest honor to announce the Lifetime Achievement Vocalis award. This year’s nominees include:

This year’s Lifetime Achievement award goes to the legendary Dan Miller.
Dan, on behalf of the entire voice-over community, thank you for over five decades of dedication, for inspiring us to believe in the magic of storytelling, for setting the stage alongside the late John Williams, and for expanding the horizons for your peers and future generations.
As we approach the finale, two categories remain: Best Female Voice and Best Male Voice.
